Enjoy a gentle walk along the beautiful trails of Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve, guided by environmental scientists from leading area institutions. Hear the history of our land and animals, explore local flora and fauna, and learn how to protect our natural heritage with experts from University of Chicago, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners, Prairie State College, Morton Arborteum’s Chicago Region Trees Initiative, Thorn Creek Audubon Society, Coyote Run, and Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve.

Winners need not be present. The winning tickets will be drawn on 10/20/2019 at 2:30pm during Homewood Science Center’s WALK WALTON Fundraiser held at Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve, 1100 W. Ridge Rd.
WALK WALTON PARKING INFORMATION
Parking at Izaak Walton Preserve is limited and the lot is expected to fill. We recommend carpooling if possible. Event parking for WALK WALTON is available at Lion's Club Parking lot on Ridge Road, just east of the entrance to Izaak Walton Preserve. Please be careful when crossing the street and utilize the crosswalk. Parking is also accessible on Ridge Road, Center Avenue, Hickory Road, and Olive Road.
